At the State Public Library and Research Centre, Kozhikode every visitor brings
something unique ,a new perspective, a shared love for books, or simply the curiosity to
explore. On 07/02/2025 we welcomed Shun Ying Kwang a visitor from Malaysia on
her first ever library visit in India. She was drawn to biographies of Indian and South
Asian authors, eager to learn more about the writers who shaped literature and history.
What made this visit even more special was how she found us through her friend Karen
Iizuka, a high school teacher from Japan who had visited earlier and shared her
experience. It’s always wonderful to see how libraries connect people, not just through
books but through the stories and experiences they take with them.
